Meet Malgosia

People often ask me why I became a relationship therapist. Growing up in Poland, then relocating multiple times to the UK and US and regrowing my roots, made me realize how critical relationships are to my own well-being. On the personal level, I know what it takes to nurture relationships and make them thrive. On the professional level, I never stop learning and exploring new techniques and modern therapeutic modalities. I hope that this curiosity makes me continuously grow as a therapist.

My varied life experience makes me particularly sensitive to the difficulties of adjustment in any cross-cultural context such faced by couples with different cultural backgrounds or by children of emigrants or modern nomads. Adjustment challenges face people at any important life transition such as beginning or end of a relationship, loss of a loved one, sudden career changes, or many others.

As your therapist, I create a respectful, compassionate, and encouraging space where we jointly explore your needs and your goals. My approach to selecting the right therapeutic approach and particular interventions is structured yet fluid, recognizing the unique nature of each individual and each relationship. I like to be challenging and direct but never judging; and I hope you can believe – as I do – that change and growth are possible.
