Individual Therapy

Though I am primarily a relational therapist, I also welcome individual clients looking to make changes in their lives. After all, our relationship with ourselves is the most important of any relations we may have. Marriages, families and couples are comprised of individuals with different needs, concerns, and paths. The ultimate goal of individual therapy is to provide guidance through the process of recognizing and addressing what stands in the way of the life we desire — as an individual, a couple, or a family.

My clients seek therapy because of

  • Anxiety and depression
  • Major life transitions
  • Bereavement, grief, sense of loss
  • Lack of purpose and belonging, uprootedness
  • Difficulty coping with day-to-day stresses
  • Relationship issues, difficulty finding and committing to the right partner
  • Feeling vulnerable and confused
  • Guilt and shame
  • Trauma

Benefits of therapy include

  • Gaining a deeper understanding of yourself
  • Finding relief from anxiety, depression, stress and other mental health concerns
  • Embracing life’s changes with an open mind
  • Rediscovering a sense of purpose and meaning
  • Finding the courage to move on
  • Building the resilience and strength to cope with new challenges
